SQUASH COURT GLASS

Squash court glass refers to the specially designed glass panels used for the back walls (and sometimes side walls) of squash courts, providing durability, safety, and clear visibility for both players and spectators. This glass is typically 12 mm thick toughened (tempered) safety glass, manufactured to withstand high-impact forces from fast-moving balls and accidental player contact.

The panels are often secured with special bolted fittings and patch hardware that allow precise alignment while absorbing impact vibrations. A frosted or matte finish strip is sometimes applied at the lower section to prevent distractions and improve visibility of the ball against the background. All squash court glass must comply with international squash standards—such as those set by the World Squash Federation (WSF)—for safety, rebound performance, and optical clarity.

It is commonly used in professional tournament courts, sports clubs, and training facilities, offering strength, transparency, and long-lasting performance.
